To know

Most times we presume inconsequential entities in our quest to be accorded the title “intelligent” robbing ourselves of the ability to actually cultivate the personality that will speak loudly and resonate with that term..

Sometimes I recollect instances that stuck with me and I try to recreate that feeling of accomplishment that came with that instance.. It could be when I realized my first compliment, I use the word realize because at the time I didn't see it as such…I tend to have a hard time accepting them….it was just a few words spoken in the heat of a moment between peers that greatly enjoyed talking about shared experiences. Took me a while to understand and respond accordingly but I will let you know the feeling after realization lasted a while.

My point is simple -we focus on the compliment and try to device a means to receive it without any actual work done to inculcate the character that will bring it effortlessly -. Yes! It seems like a lot of work and I might even be an offender in this department but…it is necessary to understand where the problem lies and cut it off.
