Sometimes I recollect instances that stuck with me and I try to recreate that feeling of accomplishment that came with that instance.. It could be when I realized my first compliment, I use the word realize because at the time I didn't see it as such…I tend to have a hard time accepting them….it was just a few words spoken in the heat of a moment between peers that greatly enjoyed talking about shared experiences. Took me a while to understand and respond accordingly but I will let you know the feeling after realization lasted a while.

My point is simple -we focus on the compliment and try to device a means to receive it without any actual work done to inculcate the character that will bring it effortlessly -. Yes! It seems like a lot of work and I might even be an offender in this department but…it is necessary to understand where the problem lies and cut it off.

Right from the onboarding you will understand the reason you came for this program. There is an energy in the air that can only be brought about by the countless faces and luggages that were present . Everyone came with a certainty to learn and gain insights to make impacts at the end of this 3 months program.

Starting from yesterday we had the opportunity to listen to a visionary and dogged speaker by the name Mr Johnson Abbaly who in so little time made us question the contents we have been consuming and storing in our minds that has in one way or another shaped our mental status and kept us in certain circumstances or situations that we had termed irredeemable. He emphasized mental frameworks and their impact in our daily lives and how we go about it. In the following days to come we will undergo series of exercises that will reshape our minds and collapse negative mental frameworks.

I look forward to the remaining days ahead with anticipation and of course my pen and book to document this moments and keywords that I will revisit in my daily endeavors
